I am looking at a new design that uses a rather old Coldfire.
I haven't chosen DC-DC controller ICs yet, but Linear Tech (Analog Devices) and TI are at the top of my list. I will be doing supplies for 48->5, 48->24, 48->12. The 5V supply will likely be on the order of 5A and the other two more like 1A. There are details to fill in for the PMIC that will supply all the voltages. I might need a 48->3.3 supply for random pieces of the circuits like DDR and communications chips.
