CC2564MODA: uses deprecated Bluetooth specification, what are the impacts?

Part Number: CC2564MODA
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2564C

Hi ,

we've started a project with CC2564MODA in Bluetooth SIG Launch Studio, and since it's a subsystem we followed Qualification with No Required Testing route, by referencing its QDID 64631.

The following warning appeared:

More detail:

"QDID 64631 implements a deprecated specification scheduled to be withdrawn on 2023-02-01. You cannot reference this QDID after the specification has been withdrawn. Learn more."

The "learn more" page is not very helpful and inconsistent.

Can you please clarify the following:

- can we still reference QDID 64631 in our project, given that it implements a deprecated but not yet withdrawn specification?

- is any additional testing or removal of features associated with a deprecated  specifications required?

- are there any other limitations and / or additional costs for us due to referencing this QDID  before the specification withdrawal on 2023-02-01?
