CC2640R2F: identifying BLE stack version for Bluetooth certification

Hello!

I am currently starting the Bluetooth certification process of our new product.

In application note SWRA601C I found some good starters. However I am wondering how I can identify the BLE stack version that is used in my project in order to find the corresponding QDID from the appnote.

Our application is based on the micro eddystone example and is using CC2640R2F SDK 4.10

How can I identify the version?

Hi,

The BLE stack version is stated inside its release notes.

Depending if you are using the BLE5 or the BLE Stack, the version will not be the same. Please review the release notes stored in <SDK>\docs\blestack or in <SDK>\docs\ble5stack.

How can I tell from the application source code which stack is being used?

I cannot see any includes referring to either directory.

Hi,

There is no place in the code where you can find the version number of the stack.

From your project, you can check from which SDK (based on the path) the libraries are included.
