CCS/LP-CC2652RB: Programming a bare IC used in our developed Hardware

Hi Shivam,

You can choose to program through a XDS110 JTAG connection using IAR EWARM, CCSTUDIO, UNIFLASH, or FLASH-PROGRAMMER.  The other option you mentioned is to use the ROM serial bootloader detailed in Section 10 of the Technical Reference Manual (SWCU185), you can refer to SWRA466 for further information and instructions.

Okay is the newly purchased IC shipped after boot loading or it is to be done before programming?

What do you mean the newly purchased IC shipped after boot loading or it is to be done before programming?

I mean to say after i purchase cc2652rb controller. What will be the process for programming it to place it in our board. Can i just flash my developed program into my hardware (with ic soldered in it) via xds110 debugger? Or i have to do its bootloading as incase of avr controllers for example atmega 328p which needs setting fuse bits etc before loading any program via programming tool?

So you mean to say I can just solder a new IC in my hardware and directly flash my application program into it via xds110 debugger without any prerequisites.
