CC2640R2F: Primary battery + Super capacitor

Part Number: CC2640R2F

Hi,

The combination of primary battery + supercapacitor to power the BLE module and other peripherals.

I would like to discuss a few points before I start the design work.

Battery Voltage: 3.6V

Capacitor: 5F/5.4V

1. Can you suggest me the suitable & Best series protection circuit for charging the supercapacitor from the primary battery source

2. What is the current limit which we need to set for the supercapacitor to avoid damaging?

3.Any other technical recommendation that we need to take care of during the design.

4.Initially, the capacitor will have very low impedance and we can’t directly charge using the power supply (or) any primary battery source also there is a chance of High inrush current flowing through the capacitor. Do you suggest adding any series element to limit the inrush current and protect the capacitor and take care of the charging?
