Hi, I am trying to confirm the datasheet current numbers using the LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 and SimpleBroadcaster example. I have HW rev B, and removed R89 to disable the flash but can't get any standby current lower than about 45uA. All jumpers are removed and the board is being powered and measured by a third party board X-NUCLEO-LPM01A using 3.3v, and I see similar results using EnergyTrace. This screencap is for when advertisements are set at every 4 sec, with recharge pulses visible in between, cropped to zoom in on the standby level. Is there a way to get down to the 0.9uA level in the datasheet?

Can you try the rfPacketTx example to see what standy current you get?

Yes, I was able to confirm the rfPacketTx example has a standby current of 0.9uA. There are a number of extra enabled items in the sysconfig when comparing the two projects and it looks like they are needed for BLE operation. I've been trying to disable the display module without success also. Is it possible to get down to 0.9uA with an actual BLE application or is the 45uA the baseline for a broadcast or connectable device?

Hi,

You need to make sure you close not needed peripherals like UART.

I was able to get the power consumption to match after changing to the SimplePeripheral project and removing the UART/Display and 2nd advertisement set as described in the SDK. Thanks!
