Hi TI Support Team,

I would like to ask if it is possible to run Broadcaster and Receiver for eddystone beacon using cc2640?

And also I would also needed to add simple peripheral to connect to mobile device.

Hi Jonathan,

The micro_eddystone_beacon example uses the micro BLE stack (not the BLE stack). As aresult, you won't be able to directly add the simple_peripheral functionalities to this project.

That being said, if you start from the multi_role example, you will be able to have both the broadcaster, receiver and simple_peripheral functionalities.

I have just tried right now the multi role example. And I have few questions

While the CC2640 is currently connected to a mobile device. Can it still broadcast advertisement Packets?

Yes, it should be no problem to send advertising when CC2640R2 is currently connected to a mobile device
