CC2652R: Can I use this part to send a single shot packet on a single channel directly as opposed to starting and stopping the BLE stack?

Hi Lauren,

I'm a bit confused here. Do you not want to use the BLE stack at all? It sounds like you can accomplish this by using the radio with our proprietary stack example. This way you can send any data using the 2.4g radio in the packet format you want (i.e. creating a single shot BLE advertisement). You test this quickly using SmartRF Studio without the need to flash a project.

You can refer to the TRM, specifically section 25.8.8.3 Nonconnectable Advertiser Command.

Please let me know if I've misunderstood your original question.

Hi Ammar,

Yes they would like to not use the BLE stack. Is there any code available or examples of code snippets we have that can help them to accomplish this? They can do it in SmartRF Studio.
