I am using the SmartRF06 evaluation board and connected to a custom C2640 over the 10 pin arm cortex connector.

I want to test DTM using the BT tool. I keep getting an error while testing.

Hey Bhushan,

Do you mind trying to attach the screenshots again? It seems the files failed to attach. For me, this usually happens when I directly copy and paste images into the reply. Please try using the Insert Media button this time and see if it works!

Hey Bhushan,

Can you try reflashing the boards with both the app and stack hex images for host test? Once flashed, hit the reset button on the device before opening BTool. I noticed this usually resolves this warning.

Hi Ammar,

I tried to reflash the board with both app and stack hex image. I am still facing the same issue.

Do you think something is wrong with my setup? I am attaching my setup below.

I have tried both serial ports. None of them work.

Are you able to flash any image to the device? Perhaps you can verify the hardware setup by flashing a basic driver example to toggle an LED on the board.

I don't see the UART Backchannel Enable jumper on the Evaluation board. You'll need this to connect the device to the UART port on your PC... See section 5.1.1 here: www.ti.com/.../swru321b.pdf

Once we verify the hardware is being flashed correctly we can investigate further.

Hi Ammar,

The issue was the RS232 hardware I was using. I switched the hardware. Everything works fine now.
