LAUNCHXL-CC2650: Not able to debug target cc2650EMK board using CC2650 launchpad

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC2650
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650EMK, FLASH-PROGRAMMER, SMARTRF06EBK,

Hello geeks,

I'm actually working on cc2650emk board.

The emk daughter board im flashing using the launchpad. (Launch pad JTAG pins connected to corresponding EMK board JTAG pins.)

When i try flashing using the RF Flash programmer, the EMK board is not getting detected.

The error initially i got is :

IcePick_C: Error connecting to the target: (Error -242 @ 0x0) A router subpath could not be accessed. The board configuration file is probably incorrect.

But sometimes i'm getting Error -261 also.

Please let me know how can I solve this issue.

thanks in advance.

  • Hi Dilu,

I assume you are referring to FLASH-PROGRAMMER 2 v1.8.2 to detect and flash the board?  How are you connecting the LAUNCHXL-CC2650's XDS110 to the CC2650EMK without the SMARTRF06EBK?  If you could provide a picture of your setup then this would help clear confusion.  You will need to closely follow the JTAG pin diagrams shown in both board schematics.

    Regards,
    Ryan
