CC2642R: How enable NPI protocol for SPI to communicate Application Processor

I added NPI protocol files. It giving linker error in CCS.

What can be done to resolve this linker error?

These errors mostly seem related to the TI Drivers, not specifically NPI inclusion issues.  What all changes did you make to your project to cause such problems?  I did not observe similar behavior after adding the NPI folder to my project and adding it to the Project Properties -> Build -> ARM Compiler -> Include Options, however I am sure that our approaches are different.

Hi,

I added NPI files to simple central app as link files. I also included the path. Now i am getting below error :-

Have you added ti\simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_30_00_54\source\ti\ble5stack\npi\src to your Include Options?  This is where referencing the host_test example will be useful.

Any driver iclusion also required? or any config change?

Make sure that npi_config.h exists in the inc folder, try removing the mention of inc altogether and only include "npi_config.h", or perhaps attempt creating a local copy.

Hello Archana,

Looks like we need to revisit your actual usage example again. The CC2642R and its SDK does not support the Simple_NPI interface - this is supported only on the earlier CC2640R2F at this time. 

The Simple_central app is a self-contained application running on the CC2642R. You can have another communication task to transfer messages over SPI to another processor - but that would be independent of any bluetooth specific operations.
