My customer is asking whether CC2564MODX BT Module has programming code on the module or not? Also, whether they just need to modify the serial ports, then can use CC2564MODX module directly after purchasing?

Hi Dylan,

I'd suggest the customer start by looking at: https://www.ti.com/product/CC2564MODA#design-development##software-development

The stack code runs on the attached processor, either a mcu or linux based host. The service pack (SP) is loaded onto the controller at initialization time. The SP essentially updates the built-in ROM code.

Yes, they will need to configure the UART on the host and the controller so they interoperate. Additionally, there is a BT_EN signal from the host. There are examples as part of the stack release package for STM32, MSP432, and LInux that should help get them going.
