CC2640R2F: Advertise more than 31 bytes using simple peripheral BLE-5.

I am configuring CC2640R2F as simple peripheral and advertise the advert data. Till 31 byte it works fine but as I further increase the size of advert data i.e. more than 31 bytes the advertisement stops.

What all changes do i need to include to enable BLE 5 extended advertising features.

The SDK version that I am using is simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_4_20_00_04.

A usage example of BLE5 Extended Advertisements is shown in the simple_peripheral example - the advertising data set #1 is set to legacy and data set #2 is set to extended. These advertisement sets are configured in the function SimplePeripheral_processGapMessage() of the file <simple_peripheral.c>

The BLE5 Advertising SimpleLink Academy module shows additional aspects of this type of advertisement:

Yes I went through the simple_peripheral example. Both the data set 1 and data set 2 use the same advert data.

So when I increase the the size of advert data more than 31 bytes my launchpad stops advertising, but since the data set 2 is set to extended mode it should advertise data more than than 31 bytes.

I had one more doubt - Do I need to disable the advertising data set 1 that is set to legacy in order to advertise the data set 2 which is set to extended mode.
