I upgraded my IAR workbench to IAR C/C++ Compiler for "8051 7.60.5 (7.60.5.40066)".Im using cc2540 mini development kit.I tried to download example code located at default "C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC2540\Projects\ble\HostTestApp\CC2540" into the usB dongle.It asked me to upgrade the project file ,so i accepted and I was able to debug the code.I also had to chose the proper device for cc2540f256 in the project options. It gave me a warning saying ?PBANK is redefined.I also noticed that there is a red dot next to the USB folder that doesnt seem to go away even when there are no errors.Any idea why this could be happening???I was facing a similar issue when i was using cc2511 with IAR7.51 but the error went away by itself after sometime.
Im now facing a problem when downloading the code for cc2540 FOB from default folder location "C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC2540\Projects\ble\SimpleBLEPeripheral\CC2540DB" the device gets programmed but hangs in debug condition after download.However the code gets downloaded and debugged when using USB dongle code.So im sure that the hardware is fine.Is there something that has to be changed after the project gets upgraded to newer version in IAR??
