LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2: Read RSSI for particular frequency.

Hi,

We have two LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2.

We want to conduct one study in that one LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 is connected to Smart RF studio and set to continuous Tx mode (unmodulated) as you can see in screenshot.

We want to use another LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 as receiver and read rssi for that particular channel frequency from firmware. Then switch to another antenna using RF switch and read again That I will add in firmware logic but can you guide me what Receiver example firmware can be used to read RSSI or what modification I need to read RSSI for particular frequency while transmitter is set as explained.

Also, Is it possible to Tx continuous wave as done from smart studio in firmware? Is there any example or changes required in them then let me know.

Hi Hardik,

You can refer to the rfEasyLinkNp example, which includes both PER Rx/Tx and Carrier Wave modes, or the more basic RF TI Driver examples. I also recommend the Proprietary RF User's Guide.
