CC2640R2L: 32KHz Crystal less - Peripharal + Observer role

Hi,

Device : CC2640R2L

SDK : simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_4_20_00_04

We are using example of Peripheral + Observer role.

We are not using 32KHz crystal and no RC Calibration is used in FW. What are the impact on other peripherals Like UART of this crystal less design ?

I think 32K crystal would impact your sleeping timer and BLE peripheral/observer would consume higher power when using RC oscillator.

Agreed, the App Note regarding crystal-less operation covers all the immediate impacts of using the internal RC oscillator.
