CC2640R2F: CC2640R2F flashing error with XDS110 Debug Probe

Hello,

I'm triing to use the debug probe XDS110 to flash my own hardware design based on CC2640R2F mcu.

When i flash it using XDS110 from the LAUNCHXL Launchpad, it flash well. But I don't find how to configure correctly my CCS to use the debug probe.

Here is my error from CCS :

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -267 @ 0x0)
The controller could not detect valid target supply. Check target
JTAG connection and/or connection setting specifying voltage level.
(Emulation package 8.4.0.00006)

Do you know where is my mistake ?

Hello Antoine,

Here is a link to the XDS110 Emulator Guide. I gather that the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 XDS110 works with your custom PCB, but does the TMDSEMU110-U work on the LaunchPad's CC2640R2 (see the Advanced use of the LP hardware section)? The errors seem to indicate an issue with the JTAG connection or target voltage level, are you able to monitor this with a multimeter? Is the behavior similar if using UNIFLASH or FLASH-PROGRAMMER 2?

I finally found my error : using XDS110 Debug Probe require to use a external power input for the MCU.
