Inquiry about 5.8GHz module device

Hi, TI expert.

The customer has a device inquiry to apply to the drone.

Currently, I am using a 2.4GHz module with CC2652R1 in a drone.

I have been asked if there is any information on the 5.8GHz module, please check.

If so, can I get the data?

Your current device is a BLE device, are you asking about moving to Wi-Fi for 5Ghz support? There is no support for BLE at the frequency.

Thanks for answer.

It is not BLE.

Currently, CC2652R1 is used, and RF Mode: Proprietary Mode is used. (Applied to drones and uses 2.4GHz. Bluetooth is not used.)

Please inquire if there is a device that supports 5.8GHz other than 2.4GHz.

Hi Grady,

We don't have any 5.8 GHz proprietary offerings now. We have MCU's that operate on 2.4 GHz proprietary protocols and we also have Wifi MCU's that operate on 5 GHz (but the WiFi protocols, not proprietary).
