Hi Experts,

I received inquiry about PER test with SmartRF Studio7. Customer is asking if it is possible to measure PER with SmartRF Studio7. As far as I checked SmartRF, it has no “PER Test Configuration” Tag, however, I believe it is possible to measure it in “Packet Rx“ tag in tool. Is that correct?

If there is any limitation for CC2652R’s PER-measurement with SmartRF, would you share it with us, please?

I will appreciate if you will share your Exert’s advice/comments on this. customer wants to use SmartRF in their production-line.

    Hi Miyazaki,

    SmartRF Studio can be used to run PER-measurements. To do so, you should use two CC2652R boards and open two instances of  SmartRF Studio. One board should be set as "PacketTx", the second should be "Packet Rx". Then based on the number of packets sent and received you will get the PER.

    SmartRF Studio will set different limitation based on the mode used by the CC2652r device.
