CC2650: CC2650 SimpleLink Academy

I'm trying to go through the SimpleLink Academy tutorials for a CC2650. I have the 2650 Launchpad. I've installed simplelink_academy_01_11_00_0000, simplelink_academy_bleplugin_3_10_02_00, simplelink_sdk_ble_plugin_3_20_00_24 and the ble_sdk_2_02_02_25.

In the Getting Started section of: C:/ti/simplelink_academy_01_11_00_0000/modules/tirtos_01_basic/tirtos_01_basic.html, it says to do the following. I've add my questions with ??? before each.

Open Code Composer Studio and import the project.

Open the Resource Explorer by going to View → Resource Explorer (Examples) ??? not sure why it has "(Examples)" ... the menu choice is just View-->Resource Explorer
Open up SimpleLink Academy → TI-RTOS → Projects ??? despite installing SimpleLink Academy, it doesn't show up in my list of resources.
Select Lab 1 for the platform you are using. ??? so I can't use "Lab 1" to use the tutorial.
Press the import button on the right side

Hints greatly appreciated!

Hi Jim,

SimpleLink Academy for the CC2650 is not maintained any more. For BLE development I would recommend using CC2640R2F. We do still suppor the CC2650 absolutely and you can use this in new designs actively, but our training content is now focused on our CC2640R2F and CC26X2 platform devices. SimpleLink Academy is updates for these devices every quarter with each new SDK. You can still find the BLE Stack for the CC2650, but you need to download the BLE Stack to your computer and run the example projects from there as they are not available in Resource Explorer anymore.
