Hi,

I am looking to buy an off the shelf boost converter module with the gate drivers built in to test a control mechanism I'm developing. I also need to measure the inductor current and output voltage, and it would be preferable if the sensors were built in too. If the sensors are not built-in, I would need access to the inductor and capacitor to place my own sensors.

Are there any TI products/development boards I could buy off the shelf to help me save time in hardware design and building?

Specs:
Input Voltage: 30V max.
Output Voltage: 72V max.
Switching frequency: capable of switching at 50kHz
Power = 100W (Flexible on this spec)

Hello Kartavya,

Thank you for considering TI products. I am not fully clear if I understand your question the right way. At the moment I would recommend to have a look at the LM5155 boost EVM

The output voltage is not at the level you need, but can be changed by changing some components to make the board work at 72V.

Would such a board be the tool you are searching for?

Hi Brigitte,

This is definitely in the right direction of what I'm looking for. However, by reading through the user's guide, it seems like I have no control over the output voltage. Is there an EVM that TI sells where I can use a micro controller to dynamically set an output voltage reference for the converter, which the EVM then enforces through onboard control implementation at the output?

Moreover, the need to procure something on these lines is very urgent, so is there an Application support number that I could call to help quicken the process if possible?
