CC2642R: Osal SNV Read and Write

I have a problem with Osal SNV.

For example, I want to change the 5th byte at address 0x100. Do I need to read 256 bytes into a buffer, change the 5th byte and write 256 bytes again?

If so, is there an easier way around this?

And how many times can we read and write?

Hi Ahmet,

With the Osal SNV driver it is only possible to write the entirety of a NV item, this is as compared to the NVS driver which includes an offset parameter in its API. I recommend you review the TI Driver API and Flash section of the BLE-5 User's Guide.

Flash memory characteristics are shown in Section 5.7 of the Datasheet. A minimum of 60 kCycles of flash erase cycles for a single sector is supported before failure can occur.
