CC2640R2L: Need reference design for the 5x5 mm package, single-ended operation with internal bias

Hello,

For a very cost-sensitive project, I need a reference design for the 5x5 mm package (CC2640R2LRHBR), single-ended operation with internal bias (lowest cost and power consumption). The document SWRS250A states that reference designs exist for all options but I was unable to find one for the above-mentioned case. Thanks.

Hi Cern,

Unfortunately, I don't know of a reference design for that set of options. However, we do have 4X4 single ended (CC2650EM-4XS) or 5X5 differential (CC2650EM-5XD) reference designs that would work on this page here under design tools and simulation.

You can use the single ended RF-network from the CC2650EM-4XS reference design. To change to internal bias simply remove L21. Remember to configure the RF settings in the SW project accordingly, it can be a bit tricky to figure out :-)
