CC2652RB: enable notifications for the characteristics

Hi,

I have tried but its not working could you suggest me how i can enable notifications for the particular characteristic in step 4 of task 5.
The original post talks about updating the ADC value so it is concerned with this problem only so i don't think a separate post is required for it. Kindly help me if you are aware of the solution.

    Hi Shivam,

    Could you give a few more details on the system you are building? I assume you have a CC2652RB device running the simple_peripheral example. However I do not understand what kind of device (smartphone, launchpad running simple_central, etc.) wants to turn on notifications.

    Yes i am using a TI CC2652RB launchpad and a smartphone with BLE Scanner android application. Can you tell me where in the code i shall make changes to keep the notifications enabled all the time. The value has to be transmitted from the Launchpad side and received on the Android smartphone.

    Hi Shivam,

    The GATT client - in your case the Android phone - is responsible to turn on the notifications. To do so, in the BLE Scanner app, connect to the CC2652RB,  then turn on notifications for the Characteristic 4.
