Hello TI Experts,

My customer consider CC2642R fir their new products, and they have question about idle mode.

I can see the table below in datasheet;

and my question is, in idle mode on the table, can I use the functions below?

 - PWM generator

 - GPIO (always-on, both input and output)

 - SSI interface (transmit and receive)

all this function are in General Hardware Peripheral on block diagram, so i think that i can use all these function. but i need your confirmation.

please check this issue. Thanks.

Best regards,

  • Hi Chase,

    Thank you for your interest in our products.

    I confirm the peripherals will still be usable while in Idle mode.

    However, some operations like changing the configuration of the PWM or add buffers in the queue of the SSI peripheral may require to have the main core in active mode. Our drivers handle the transitions between the different power modes and allow the system to save as much energy as possible.

    Best regards,
