CC2640: CC2640/50 working with CYRF in proprietary mode

Part Number: CC2640

Hi all,

We use CC2640 for several of our products to communicate CC2500/CC2510
and BT and we are very happy with this.
We also use CYRF69103/CYRF6937 transceivers for another products. These
transceivers are obsolete and out of life cycle already.
From our experience and observations of the market for similar products
we found that it is possible for CC2640/CC2650 to communicate with
CYRF69103/CYRF6937 successfully.
Could you please give us some recommendations with
the configuration of CC26xx to make it working with CYRF series of
transceivers?

Much appreciated.

  • Hello,

I would recommend you start by looking at SmartRF Studio. You can see various configuration and options available on TI wireless devices. If there are specific parameters of the Cypress device you are trying to match, feel free to share and I make recommendations.

    Regards,

    Daniel
