May I ask you what is the "voice engine ADC"? Is it a piece of software or are you referring referring to the ADC of the CC2640R2F?

(CC2640R2F has a 12-bit ADC, 200-ksamples/s, 8-channel)

Is the 12bit ADC within the CC2640 you referring to falls under the sensor controller unit?

Based on your expertise, may I enquire what's the typical required ENOB for speech recognition while using an analog voice input?

Hi,

Yes, the ADC used by the Sensor Controller is the same as the one used by the main core.

If you refer to Microsoft’s speech technology, they allow doing voice recognition with 8-bit data - so with 12 or 10 ENOB, you should be fine :)
