LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Board stops working from BTool

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1

Hello,

I have an issue with the LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 that is not responding anymore in BTool application. 

I am using host-test app, with simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_40_00_44.

The previous called commands were:

  • connect to a peripheral device
  • create connection via L2CAP
  • send some data via L2CAP

The strange thing is that this problems appear very rare. The big issue is that we can fix this only after REFLASH, nothing else works (unplug-plug, reset PC, reset BTool etc)

    I've assigned your post to an expert to comment. Are you able to share the BTOOL logs that are generated when the issue occurs?

    Hello Ammar,

    I am not able to share the BTool log because this error occurs very rarely. The strange thing is that we need to reflash totally the board to resolve this problem.

    Hi Robert,

    Can you send the successful log instead?We can try to reproduce it here because we need to be able to reproduce the issue in order to provide a solution.

    Can you program the host test with IDE and then when the issue occurs, stop/close the btool, and do attach to running target using the IDE to see where the PC is at?

    Hello Christin,

    It is quite difficult to provide logs with this issue because was caught on a user computer and it is installed only bTool. 

    You have any idea on why this problem appears? And I would try o reproduce on my PC the issue, where i have an IDE installed.
