Hi Morgan,
Generally speaking it looks good to me. I'm comparing the RF against our 4X4 single ended reference design here and the power again the 5X5 differential design here.. You're missing a series inductor in the RF path (L12 in the 4X4 reference design) and a ferrite bead between VDDS and VDD_EB (BLM18H in the 5X5 design). Other than those, it looks about right. You can also consider checking it against the design considerations document we have here, where I got the two reference designs from.
Best,
Nate
Thanks for reply Nathan, have added the missing components, missed those... Am also removing the 32khz oscillator as this is mainly a beacon application with minimal to no connection functionality.
Another question, are no capacitors needed for the 24 MHz crystal? I don't see any used in the launchpad schematic.. I guess best practice would be to add them and not populate the footprints unless found to be needed in the tuning process.
That would be my recommendation as well. If you use the appropriate crystal they shouldn't be necessary, but if it's no additional cost to place the components, you get some more flexibility in tuning the crystal if need be.
