CC2640R2F: Do we have firmware used for testing certification?

Dear Teams,

My customer is using CC2640R2FRGZT. Their current testing certification: CC2640R2F can continuously transmit and receive signal with fixed frequency, and it can switch channel. Do we have firmware used for testing certification?

I believe the following document should contain all of the information you need (Link). You need to use the host_test project as well as the information contained within the previously mentioned pdf.

Hi Morales,

My customer have downloaded the SDK file host_test project. They are wondering which firmware they can used to do frequency and power changes, is it CCS?

Hi Dylan,

They would need to use host_test with Btool. The following SimpleLink Academy lab covers how to get started with BTool as part of one of the steps:

Bluetooth Low Energy Fundamentals

Btool with the above documentation should contain all the information they need to perform the testing required.
