CC2652R: CC2652 problems with PER running code S=2 and package length 255 bytes

Problems with receiver PER when running BLE 5 and code S=2 and 255 bytes long packets. To verify this I want to use the SmartRF studio for receiver measurements, however SmartRF studio is limited to max PDU packets size of 37 packets.

I am using SmartRF studio v2.21.0

Hi,

I confirm this limitation of Smart RF Studio (see release notes).

I see two other options to perform the PER tests - I would recommend the first or the second option.

You could use a Bluetooth tester. To do this you should flash the device with the host_test example.
You could use BTool (with the device flashed with host_test). Then the test can be run using the command HCIExt_EnhancedModemHopTestTxCmd.
You could use the solution described in this post.
