HI TI,

I need BLE-LR on the WL1831MOD / WL1835MOD / WL1837MOD.

As these modules do not support BLE-LR, is it possible to connect an RF power amplifier on the RF output of the module?

If it is possible, could you please suggest me some power amplifier?

Please could you suggest me a BLE-LR module that TI has developed drivers for linux (similar to the WL183xx family).

Hi albgarc,

If you implement an external amplifier, you will be unable to use the WL1837MOD certification by filing a permissive change.

Albgarc,

The CC2640 IC supports BLE Long Range and you are able to build BLE Stack v2.x projects on Linux.
