CC8520: In the development of CC8520 encountered the following problems, hope to help

Part Number: CC8520

hi,

1. Is there any driver demo for the Pure Path protocol Host-Controlled Operation mode? Where can I find the related demo?

2. Is there any driving routine of AIC3204 based on the mode of Question 1 above? Where can I find the reference?

3. In the automatic mode, the master uses the STEREO output base station mode in Upstream audio, and Slaver uses the STEREO output base station mode in Pstream audio.CC8520+ AIC3204 hardware is used, and the Audio Streaming must be configured with two different Audio IO to enable both headphones to have sound. If you configure the same Audio IO, for example, AD1, only one earphone will have sound. What is the reason for this?

4. In the case of Question 3, if the application role is selected as STEREO INPUT SATELITE from the machine, what is the reason for the failure of normal communication?

  • 1. There is not a generic Host-Controlled demo since the Host device could be any controller. Chapter 3.2 of the CC85xx User Guide shows the commands required.

    2. Yes, see the example located in the PPW Configurator example folder:

For questions 3 and 4, please refer to the included demo and see if the settings provided answer your questions.

    Regards,

    Daniel

  • Yes, we also referenced the manual CC85xx Family User’s Guide FW1.4.2 for the design, but I don't see why the Audio Streaming has to be configured with two different Audio IO, why not just one IO?

  • You should be able to have 2 channels on a single audio interface in host controlled mode. Have you looked at network statistics from both devices to see if both channels of audio are being sent and received correctly? Do you have the 2nd audio channel muted?

    Regards,

    Daniel
