RF430CL331H: ndef files defines consulting

Part Number: RF430CL331H

Hi Sir,

I would like to ask if the ndef file defines several ID files.
Can Android mobile terminal read the contents of the file by reading the ID number?

If multiple ndef files are defined, when I read CC files, I can only read the configuration information of the first file?

I use the logic analyzer to see that only the first five bytes of the CC file are read.

Another question is that RF430CL331 declares multiple ID files in the file 0xE103, but when the mobile phone reads it, it only reads the first declared file.

Thanks.

  • Hi Frank,

because I have no experience with the NDEF message structure I will ask a colleague and will come back to you the next days.

  • Hello Frank,

I am not sure how Android handles that by default but custom apps would definitely be able to do so as long as NDEF format is followed. But just the default operation may not. I don't have Android phone so I can't test how it is setup today.

If the mobile phone only reads the first file then it either means the files were not declared to NDEF specs or otherwise there may need to be a more advanced app which supports multiple file reading.

    Best Regards,
