The project I am considering is using a technique of adding amplitude modulations to add additional information (used for example for data compression). Existing techniques such as QAM, PSK, etc., I believe can still be used. Using a Lookahead function should allow the two techniques by segmenting the Digital Signal and using the Lookahead to add changes to the Analog Wave being generated. I have tried to identify what TI chip might be used . It seems the ADSP-2116OM family would fit.
So...can one of your chips be coded to handle both , say QAM and (via Lookahead) a new Amplitude Modulation technique imposed on the same wave form being generated? Could 2 techniques be run simultaneously? Would any other components need to be modified? Is it possible to modify the chip's code by a Flash update to make the update to the network (say a WiFi) as simple as possible and avoid having to make infrastructure changes.
