Hello from Turkey,

I am planning to use TRF7970A for a NFC device operation. My question is, Can I use TRF7970A with phone and NFC card? Can it be used like nfc tag while using with phone? I looked over datasheet but i didnt find a clear answer.

Hi,

Thank you for your respond. That was very usefull. I have other questions. Does NFC tag support p2p communication? Can I use trf7970a with NFC tag on p2p comm. mode ?

Hi Zafer,

no, you can use two TRF7970A devices or maybe a NFC enabled mobile phone, both in P2P mode, to communicate. A "standard" tag does not support P2P.
