TRF7970A: Mode transition online

We have a requirement as below, please help to check if TRF7970A or any IC can realize:

1. Both Port A and Port B have a TRF7970 and related circuits, Port A and Port B can use direct mode with power supply;

2. Port A shall also be used as Reader/Writer with power supply, Port B shall also be used as Card Emulation without power supply;

3. Item 1 and item 2 can exchange online, or at least, item 2 can change to item 1 online;

    Hello Jaden,

    The TRF7970A needs to be controlled by a uC. For your case where you use the TRF7970A in card emulation mode without power supply you need to power the complete board uC + TRF7970A out of the RF field. If this is possible from your current consumption requirement it is possible. If you include this possibility for powering out of the field and powering with power supply in your power management on both sides you can exchange item 1 and item 2.
