Hi everyone,

Not sure where to ask this question, but I'm trying here. I downloaded the RF430FRL152HEVM GUI Interface to test the RF430FRL152H Sensor Patch, but I can't make the GUI work with my set-up and the TRF7670EVM board seems discontinued.

I was wondering if it were possible to have the code uploaded to the board in the Demo Mode tab (with The Start Demo button)? It can be a binary file or the sequence of code sent to the board so I can push it myself.

Hello Alexandre,

I think the RF430FRL152HEVM GUI can still operate with the TRF7670EVM board to some extend. Although the TRF7670EVM support is discontinued, you can still search for old E2E posts regarding setup issues (for example: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/other-wireless-group/other-wireless/f/other-wireless-technologies-forum/668820/rf430frl152hevm-unable-to-connect-to-com-port-using-gui-using-trf7970evm-to-interface-to-rf430frl15xh).

Anyway, programming code to the RF430FRL152HEVM can be done in the RF Programming tab of the GUI. Please refer to chapter 7 in the RF430FRL152HEVM User's Guide (https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slau607) for more details. (Btw.: chapter 4 in this guide also contains some TRF7670EVM setup specific hinds.)

Alternatively you can program code to the RF430FRL152HEVM via JTAG interface with the help of the MSP430 FET.
