Hi, Sir,

We received one RFQ from customer and plan to propose TI CC2652R for BLE/Zigbee applicaton.

Please help to chec if the following specificaiton could be reached.

BLE:

Standard: Blue tooth core Specification version 5.0
Bluetooth: Class Class 1 transmitter operation
Frequency Range: 2400MHz to 2480MHz
Transmit Power : GFSK TX Power 10dBm (minimum) / EDR TX Power 10dBm (minimum)
Power Control step: 0.5 dB
Modulation Accuracy: -10 to +10 KHz
Receiver sensitivity: GFSK, 1Mbps -93dBm / π/4-DQPSK, 2Mbps -95dBm / 8-DPSK, 3Mbps -89dBm
Receiver out of-Band Blocking Performance: 776 – 915MHz -10dBm/ 1710 – 1980MHz -25dBm/ 2000-2399MHz -30dBm/ 2498 – 3000 MHz -30dBm/ 3000 – 12750 MHz -20dBm
Range: 150 feet (minimum)

Zigbee:

Standard: IEEE 802.15.4
Frequency Range: 2402 MHz to 2480 MHz
Transmit Power; +10dBm +/- 1dB
Power Control step: 1 dB
Data rate: 20 kbps to 250 kbps
Receiver sensitivity: -97 dBm
Range: 10 to 100 meters

Please also tell us if we need extra circuits/components to meet it.

Hi Jeff,

I can speak towards the Zigbee portion. If you need +10 dBm TX power then please consider the CC2652P as the CC2652R only allows for a maximum of +5 dBm output power. The LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4 is a great hardware reference point as it is designed for +10 dBm at 2.4 GHz. The Zigbee data rate is set at 250 kbps as this is the a condition of the protocol Spec, otherwise the specifications listed above are met by this device. The Dynamic Multiprotocol Manager (DMM) is also a great software solution for consecutively operating Zigbee + BLE, with examples provided in the SIMPLELINK-CC13XX-CC26XX-SDK.

I will loop in a BLE expert to comment on this portion of your requirements.

Like Ryan said, you'll need a CC2652P device to achieve 10 dBm of output power.

The step size between different power levels varies, but it is a minimum of 1 dB.

This will vary strongly depending on the protocol used and environmental conditions. See our range estimation tool for a better estimate.

Where did you get these parameters from? The datasheet has the the correct values for RF parameters. We also don't support 3 MBPS as far as I know.
