cc2530 configuration bits and cc programmer

What configuration bits are you talking about?  The ones in the debugging interface or ones for the radio or other peripherals inside the part.

I would like to configure one of the SPI peripherals, control the power modes, work with the interrupts, and the DMA.

I am trying to use IAR for software development using the CC debugger, and am having difficulty getting started.  So far I have only managed to connect to the CC2530 using the Smart RF Flash Programmer, but now claims it needs a hex file.

Any example code would be much appreciated.

Hi,

You need IAR Embedded Workbench (iar.com) to write code and debug it using the CC debugger. When you've coded your program, you can use the SmartRF Flash Programmer (as well as IAR) to download the hex file to the CC2530.
