my cc2530ZDK transmit distance is so close

Hi all!

          I bought CC2530ZDK from TI company. I download the per_test program from BasicRF file  to SmartRF05EB and SmartRF05BB boards.

          I took them to the playground to test transmission distance.But when the distance between them is about 50 meters.One node send 1000 packets,anothor node only can receive 80 percents packets.The more distance,the more packets will lost. I am so doute.

          I use the Z-stack-CC2530-2.3.0-1.4.0 to develop my own application.My program function is send the voltage and temperature of node to the coordinator in periodicity.But when the distance increase upper 50 meters .My coordinator can not receive the data.Also I set the max Txpower,the result is same.

          Could you help me！thank you！

    Liming,

    What was the distance from ground.  If an antenna is placed next to ground its distance will drop dramatically.   Test the units at 1 meter which is where most antennas are speced for these products.

            I put my receiver node on the ground.That may be the mainly factor influence the transmit distance.I will test it next time.

           I also have some questions.I want to ask some other factors influence the transmit distance.For example, TxPower,Receiver Sensitivity,SFD,and so on.I modify these parameters,whether can increase the transmission distance.

           I also want to ask the efficiency of program execution may influence the transmission distance seriously.
