I need to initialize the EEPROM and adjust the LF frequency through the test interface.

There is no description of the test interface in the RF430F59xx Family User's Guide document

Excuse me, how do I obtain the rf430f5978 test interface protocol?

Hi,

I have got the information that a documentation of the test interface is not available for this product. The LF frequency trimming is possible with the help of the MRD2 reader and described in the documentation. Also writing to the EEPROM can be done with the MRD2.

I want to get test interface protocol file,
Because it helps me make a production test harness.

Is there a RF430F5978 EEPROM unlock tool?
I have locked more than 10 EEPROMs of RF430F5978 during the development phase.

But, maybe we can't get more information.
My former company used RF430F5144 for car keys, and there is a PTBoxRF430 tool, which initializes EEPROM and adjusts LF frequency through the test interface.
I don't know if the PTBoxRF430 tool is provided by TI, or a tool made by a third-party company, it works really well.

I don't know if there is a similar tool for RF430F5978.

Hi,

due to security reasons it is not possible to unlock a locked EEPROM. If locked there is no way by software nor by hardware to unlock it again.

The PTBox is a TI tool but not available for the RF430F5978.
