MRD2EVM: H-Field Strength Generated?

Hi all,

I'm trying to estimate the strength of the H-field in the middle of the MRD2EVM antenna.

Do you know the H-field strength for this module?

Alternatively, do you know the antenna current? And some parameters of the antenna design (how many turns, radius of coil etc)?

I'm interested only in a rough estimate, or even an order of magnitude estimate.If these parameters aren't known off-hand, how would you recommend that I estimate them?

Any suggestion, insight or reference is really appreciated!

Hello Andrea,

the H-field strength should be around 158 dBuA/m.

The antenna design consists of 4 PCB layers, 7 turns each layer, with an outer dimension of 4 cm x 4 cm, resulting in an inductance of 47 uH.
