Hi

I asked back in November for the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity (Original request HERE) but still have not been provided with the CE/EU Declaration of Conformity and the agent in charge of the request did not respond.

Can you please confirm this product bears the CE marking and if yes, please provide the CE/E/EU Declaration of Conformity.

    Hello Chris,

    the statements of the original thread are still valid. But again, the RI-STU-MRD2 has a CE mark on its label and is covered as part of the MRD2EVM EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC).

    Hi Andreas,

    The EU DoC provided clearly only mentions the model number MRD2EVM, not the RI-STU-MRD2.
    If the EU DoC is meant to apply to both models, both should be listed on the EU DoC.

    Can you please provide an updated EU DoC?

    I am sorry to chase but this is a long outstanding issue. 
    In my previous exchange explained that the EU DoC you provided is not acceptable because it states to cover only the model "MRD2EVM " and not RI-STU-MRD2
    IF this EU DoC I meant to cover both MRD2EVM and RI-STU-MRD2, then RI-STU-MRD2, must also be listed on the document.
    I trust this makes sense but if you do not understand the issue please let me know, or I invite you to check with your manager.

    Please provide the EU DoC that clearly states applying/covering product ref  RI-STU-MRD2,

    Hello Chris,

    I have to correct my previous statement. I double-checked and found, the RI-STU-MRD2 has no CE mark on its label. The provided EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is covering the MRD2EVM. The RI-STU-MRD2 can not be certified alone, because it can not operate as an intended radiator on its own.

    And CE is not required under the ROHS directive 2011/65/EU either? Please clarify and if not required because of ROHS, please kindly explain why for ROHS alone CE does not apply. Thank you

    Hello Chris,

    RI-STU-MRD2 is delivered by TI as a component to be assembled into end-use systems.  As a result, CE compliance is not applicable.  TI provides the material content compliance data required to document the RoHS requirement of CE compliance are met as part of the customer’s finished product.
