Hi Team,

Can you please help us with our customer's inquiry below.

I plugged devpack into cc2650rc and connected to pc. I want to see the serial port. It's recognized as COM3 on my pc. But I don't see the SERIAL PORT. How can I watch SERIAL PORT?

I saw a related E2E thread in the link below but it was 4 years ago. Can you please confirm if the solution provided is still applicable.

Hi Danilo,

The E2E thread referenced discusses adding UART to CC2650RC RF4CE examples, but from the description it does not appear as though the backchannel UART feature from the CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG is recognized by the connected PC. The debugger is based on the XDS110 so I recommend that the customer confirm that the CC2650RC can be programmed by the DEVPACK to ensure that the correct drivers have been installed. Thank you for your response. Please see the feedback of our customer below.

I want to make sure that voice input works by pressing the microphone button on the streaming device of pc and cc2650rc. If you want to check 'Voice HID through GATT Profile' on the 'software-dl.ti.com/.../README.html' site, check voice.py .

However, there is no response even if I connect.

There are two types of sites that have been informed: 'TI Voice Profile (VoGP)' and 'Voice HID through GATT Profile (VoHoGP). Among these, if you want to check the streaming device of pc and cc2650rc, please let me know in detail which method to use.

According to the e2e.ti.com/.../code-composure-studio-serial-terminal' site, to obtain a serial port, it was used to connect to the launchpad in the example.

I want to check the serial port on cc2650rc and pc. Is there a way?

Hi Danilo,

All three links provided are broken. If the customer is evaluating BLE voice resources on the CC2650 then they should be referring to the TI BLE-Stack 2.2.x SDK provided on GitHub or the TI website. Thanks for providing the links. voice_hogp_remote requires that the "CC2650 is replaced by a CC2640R2F". For the BLESDK-2.2.x-CC2650RC_Developers_Guide, it is likely not available outside of TI since the Wiki has been deprecated. Here are the contents copied into Word/PDF format.
