Hi Team TRF,

My customer has the following questions..

1. TI published an ERRATA sheet for the trf7960a way back in 2011. In this document, TI explained that a DIRECT COMMAND requires a ninth Clock pulse to successfully complete the transaction. Has this problem since been fixed in the silicon? Do we really still need to issue a ninth clock pulse 12 years later?

2. I'm having trouble finding the current errata for the TRF7960a.. have a link for the errata?

Hello Newman,

probably you are referring to the app note "Using the SPI Interface with TRF7960", which is also referenced in the FAQ document.

The TRF7970A and TRF7964A are the newer version of the TRF7960A device, and the TRF7970A and TRF7964A are recommended for new designs.
