How lighting since the Remote Controller device??

Hello!

I am lost...despite many documents.

I am working on CC2533 RF4CE Basic Development Kit. I would like to put a light on/off for example.

I noticed CC2533EM can be programming by the RemoTI target board via CC Debugger and I can't modify the Interface connectors (for example, I wanted to put the UART_RX to 0 and it's not possible since TUSB3410 seems be once programmed).

Consequently, I can't modify UART or SPI..

Therefore, I have a doubt: how lighting a phial since the remote controller device via CC2533 (with its antenna)??? The RemoTI target board is required for it??

Here the schema of the RemoTI target board and of CC2533.

Hope being clear,

Thanks

Regards.

  • Hi Flo,

    you could simply use the standard RNP with serial interface and toggle a line on RTI_ReceiveDataInd().

    Look for RTI_ReceiveDataInd() function call in the RNP workspace and you should. This would result in a message being sent over the serial port.

    Before sending that message onto the serial port, you could embed some logic to toggle an IO (you could use for example P1.1 which goes out onto the interface connectors IR_OUT1 signal)

    void RTI_ReceiveDataInd(uint8 srcIndex, uint8 profileId, uint16 vendorId, uint8 rxLQI,

                                                               uint8 rxFlags, uint8 len, uint8 *pData)

    {

    // Put your logic here as for example if you want to toggle IO when PLAY button is pressed on the remote

    /*

    //     if (pData[0] == RTI_CERC_USER_CONTROL_PRESSED && pData[1] == RTI_CERC_PLAY)

    //{

    // toggle IO

    //}

    */

    TheDarkSide

      npiMsgData_t pMsg;

      // RTI has received data from network, so prep an asynchronous message...

      pMsg.subSys   = RPC_SYS_RCAF;

      pMsg.cmdId    = RTIS_CMD_ID_RTI_REC_DATA_IND;

      pMsg.len      = 7+len;

      pMsg.pData[0] = srcIndex;

      pMsg.pData[1] = profileId;

      pMsg.pData[2] = (vendorId >> 0) & 0xFF;

      pMsg.pData[3] = (vendorId >> 8) & 0xFF;

      pMsg.pData[4] = rxLQI;

      pMsg.pData[5] = rxFlags;

      pMsg.pData[6] = len;

      // ...copy the received data to be sent...

      osal_memcpy( &pMsg.pData[7], pData, len );

      // ...and send the Receive Data Indication

      NPI_SendAsynchData( &pMsg );

    }

  • Thanks for your answer. Therefore, this answer isn't in the good place (in fact, I understood it answers to one of my other questions).

    It helps me a lot.

    Thanks very much.

    Flo.
