CC2530 channel frequency offset

Hello everybody.

I have some problems with a frequency of the output signal of my board. It is (down) shifted by about 130 kHz compared to the nominal IEEE802.15.4 2.4GHz frequency grid. I've tried to cancel the offset with the help of FREQTUNE register but it allows only to decrease the frequency. Can anobody say if it is possible to solve the problem with increasing the capacity of external capacitors loading the 32 MHz crystal? or maybe another solution exists?

I guess you’re right and to high crystal CL reduces oscillation frequency.

I suggest reducing one or both of the capacitors connected to the crystal to increase its oscillation frequency

the idea was right - I got the shift of about 130 kHz by decreasing both CLs from 22 pF to 15 pF .
