Power-On-Reset time for transceivers/receivers

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2500

Hello

I looked through the whole datasheet on transceiver CC2500, but I don't found information about how much time require reset from the moment of rise of voltage supply to 1.8V and up to the moment of transition transceiver in the IDLE state. For other transceivers/receivers this parameter is also not mentioned.

Is there any information about the maximum value of this parameter?

  • BaN,

Table 7 on page 12 says it take the XTAL approximately 150us to stabilize. The radio enters IDLE right after this. Remember, you still have to calibrate the setup the registers and calibrate the PLL before you can transmit anything. But the radio enters IDLE after approximately 150us.

Furthermore the time it take the most frequent events are shown in table 28 on page 43.

    Regards
    /TA

  • TA12012,

    Thank you for your reply.
The datasheet on page 42 says:
"Power on time and XOSC start-up times are variable, but within the limits stated in Table 7."
As if Power on time and XOSC start-up times have different values.
It may be worth making a note, which point out that Power on time and XOSC start-up is the same times?
