RI-TRP-DR2B: 32-mm Glass-Encapsulated Multipage Transponders

I am trying to build a sensor to read the information on the pill but have found little success with sensors on the market. 

Originally, I tried using this: 134.2K AGV RFID Long Range Animal Tag Embed Reader Module TTL FDX-B ISO11784/85 | eBay but quickly found that this sensor only uses FDX.

But again, after hooking this sensor to a Raspberry Pi it can detect the pill, but the information coming from the pill is jumbled. 

I believe this to be a protocol issue but am having a tough time reading the pill to a homebuilt sensor. Is there a reader that TI recommends for reading the pill information?

How else can I read the pill using a Raspberry Pi / Arduino?
